Viscoelastic

In the 17th century, Martinus van Marum vaporized metals with a grosse Elektrisiermaschine. The imprints of these experiments were published because of their extraordinary beauty, although little was said about their scientific value. On the interface between science and art I am producing prints of paintings whose viscoelastic properties have an influence on the result.
